What is the difference between drip line and emitter tubing?

Drip line has emitters welded in the tubing at fixed spacing—ideal for hedges and dense planting beds. Blank tubing with insert or barbed emitters lets you place water exactly at each plant. Many jobs mix both on the same regulated zone.
