Pressure Reg at the Head vs the Zone: Pick One Strategy
Hunter Irrigation Supply·

If static pressure is high, misting sprays waste water and look dramatic for all the wrong reasons. Hunter pressure-regulated spray heads (PRS) hold nozzle pressure in a sensible band.
On long laterals with big elevation change, a zone-level regulator or redesign may be cleaner than regulating every head. Map elevations before you order a case of PRS bodies "just in case."
Measure with a pitot or a pressure gauge tee — guessing PSI from "it feels strong" is how specs miss.
