Drip vs Micro-Spray Along Foundation Beds

Hunter Irrigation Supply·

Foundation plantings next to stucco or wood siding do not need spray hitting the wall. Point-source drip emitters at each shrub, or inline emitter tubing in dense groundcover, keep moisture where roots are.

Micro-sprays make sense in wider ornamental beds away from the structure when you need broader coverage quickly. Add a filter and pressure regulator — 25–30 PSI is typical for drip; higher pressure misting is wasted water.

Flush the zone after install. New poly always has shavings that love emitter orifices.
